Some of my most popular itineraries (Montreal, Canada and Larnaca, Cyprus) have become apps! Cool, right? Well, I am excited!
Why is this so cool?
As a blogger I realise that reading a blog is useful for research, but then one doesn’t really travel with the printout of the blog post in hand, following instructions. You would also need a printout or a tab with a map to find directions, another one with more information about something you want to see, and it’s just not practical.
Also, especially when abroad, it’s unlikely to have access to the internet to use a mobile phone on the road.
How does it work?
And that’s when GPS-guided travel articles come handy! All itineraries at GPSmyCity – generic or thematic, from more than 700 cities around the world – can literally guide you around a place without any internet, and with embedded GPS coordinates you can see where you are, where you need to go, and where you’re going next!
Articles can be downloaded for free. GPS-guided articles will just require an upgrade for only $1,99. So cheap, and it can totally change the way you travel for the better. Better, safer, faster (you won’t get lost unless you want to, which I totally get!) easier, cheaper (no guides needed!) and even trustworthier: all of the itineraries are of course verified and safe.
The Giveaway
I know what you are thinking. Ugh, but I need to pay for that? $1,99 is OUTRAGEOUS! Haha. I know. But NOPE because if you download the app NOW (well actually starting on Monday, September 19th 2016) you can get a free upgrade for the following travel articles by myself:
- (giveaway) 5 Things to Do in and around Montreal
You can also find all my posts about Canada here!

Keeping the geeky level high at the Science Center of Montreal
And also the following one is already available:
- What to See and Do in Larnaca, Cyprus
You can also find all my posts about Cyprus here!

Protaras, the sea, and people having fun in the waves
(Hurry up! This offer is only valid until 25th September 2016)
To get your free upgraded app you need to click on the link for the article(s) you are interested in. Then follow the instructions to download the GPSMyCity app. You will then be taken to the page for the article app – click on Upgrade and the app will be automatically linked to an offline map and the GPS navigator.
Have fun!
And I would like to thank GPSmyCity for choosing me, and for the giveaway.
