Sicily, one could say, is all about the atmosphere. But no, it’s not only that.
How do you call a place with a striking beauty and the best possible hospitality?
A place for the soul to recharge.
A place there the eyes fail to believe the many surrounding beauties.
A place where you can sense history was made, and you can see it in the eyes of the people.
I call it special.
I call it home. For you and for me.
So I am in Sicily and I’m into Sicily.
After exploring the city of Catania and its surroundings, reaching the summit of Mount Etna and spending an unforgettable night in Taormina, I am now running after my inner peace in the pristine beauty of the Aeolian Islands. Volcanoes everywhere. Weather rules. I love the idea of living on a volcano.

Me on Mount Etna, at 3.000 meters of altitude!

Taormina, the Bay of Mazzaro

The Stacks of Aci Trezza

Lipari Island, Marina Corta

Stromboli in the storm

The Island of “Vulcano”
I love the idea of being smaller than – and feeling so clearly part of – nature.
One more week to go, so many more things to do, and I already know this is going to be an experience of a lifetime. Can’t wait to share it all with you!
