I’m finally a proud owner of a Nikon D7000 DSLR camera.
Since I got it (about 1 month ago), I already took zillions of photos, and I always carry it in my handbag.
About 2 weeks ago I went to one of my favorite places in the Italian Riviera: Camogli.
It was after dinner, and now it’s not high season anymore, so everything was quiet and a bit dark. I walked all the way down to the little harbor, remembering when I was 18 and I used to work in a bar on the tiny square right next to the sea. I remember I had my first car back then and after work I would get on the car and listen to “Moby – 18” all the way back to Santa Margherita Ligure, my hometown.
When I come back to the area I somehow feel like a stranger, which can be positive and negative at the same time. One of the good sides is that I find inspiration in taking photos.
If you happen to visit this small fishermen town, try to be there on may – they have an amazing “sagra del pesce” (=feast of the fish) where they fry fish for everyone in a the biggest pan in the world: 3 tons of fish at a time, 4 meters of diameter, 6 meters of panhandle. Impressive, huh? And delicious too.:)
