I just sold my blanket. My beautiful green blanket!
Well, at least this American girl who bought it said green is her favourite colour too, so it’s nice that it went to another “green lover”.

bye bye my beloved blanket
My room is empty. I took off all the photos I hanged on the walls. And the 2 big maps of Egypt with my signs/comments on the places I visited. Many little hearts drawn on them, meaning how much I loved those places.

My room in Cairo
I am leaving the key here tonight, so from now on this is not my room anymore. Someone is moving in tomorrow. A German guy afaik. And I hope he will enjoy this little cozy room as much as I did.
I’m going to miss my flatmates: Klara from Czech Republic, Laura from Germany and Sheraz from Egypt. They’ve been the perfect flatmates for me and contributed making my stay in Egypt so awesome.

Sheraz, me, Klara, Laura: my flatmates
I’ll miss the “cigarette breaks” with gossip and girlish talks.
I won’t miss the school in front, with the drums and national anthem every morning at 8.
But it’s good that I have only good memories in this flat.
So now it’s time to go. The keys are on the desk. I switch off the lights.

Thanks hun, and it was great sharing it with you :*
I hope to see you soon in Panama :)
take care.
Panama? Why not :)
Thanks Osvaldo!
Aw, how sad! I’ll miss your updates from Cairo. On to new adventures :)
I’m missing Cairo already! But I still have a lot to write about and many pictures/video to share. + sooo many memories!
And will be writing about Italy too… and Italian food :)
I know how much you’re going to miss Cairo but your journey goes on and you’ve only got even better things to come. :) Adore your room by the way.
Hehe thanks Ceri, it was kind of old, falling apart and dusty but still I loved it and enjoyed my life in it. Plus there was a little terrace just for me and… oh how many talks on that terrace!!! Will miss it… but honestly am enjoying my Italian super comfy bed at the moment :p
So sad you left but that only means you have a million more chapters opening soon!!!
I may need to know where this flat is for when I am there I know where to stay. Maybe I can even get your same room!
If you’re staying in Cairo for a month or more u definitely have to rent an apt! I will help you with this:) who knows, maybe you’ll end up there or very close… would be so cool!
afaik – As far as I know?
Shaun had to point that one out to me. Bon voyage girlie! On to your new adventure!
Lol, yes, I meant “as far as I know”. I am a lazy bum even for writing:)
Ready for next adventure… already looking at the atlas… wohooo!
Awww! It’s always hard to say goodbye – but just think of all the new green blankets you’ll come across in the future :)
Alright! sounds better from this point of view:) I should start the “green blankets” tradition: one for every place I visit…
