Ok guys, here are 5 things I absolutely don’t want to miss in my life. Things I saw on tv maybe, but tv is not the real thing. I don’t even care about 3-D experiences, or whatever. I just want to be there and experience it!
- African Wildlife – Unfortunately I’ve never seen leopards, elephants, zebras & co. (maybe just in zoos when I was little, but that doesn’t count). Every time I see a documentary or shots about African animals, I just want to be there. If I know myself enough as I think I do, it will be a life-changing experience.

- Northern Lights – In the last months I started freaking out coz I want to see one. Not sure why this is happening now, but oh well, I’ll make this tiny sacrifice and satisfy my desire asap!

- A Total Solar Eclipse – As far as I remember I saw one when I was little, but again, that doesn’t count. I’ve been so impressed by shots recently taken on Easter Island, while a solar eclipse on July 11th. One day I’ll just drop everything and run over to the place the eclipse of the moment will be visible from. Be it Mongolia, Mexico or Japan. Even the longest trip is worth it! And if it rains well… let’s go sightseeing.

- An Erupting Volcano – I’ll see Etna in Sicily in a few days… will it behave? If so… Sorry Giulia, I think you should go to Hawaii. Ugh, that sucks!

- Space Shuttle Launch – well, until a few months ago I would have said that. Unfortunately, I can say I missed it. The last Space Shuttle launch is scheduled in the next few months. I don’t think I can make it. I’ve been to Florida 3 times to see one, but the launch was scrubbed every single time. Bad luck! But this means I’ll see a rocket launch of NASA’s future human space flight missions.

An Erupting Volcano, I’ll have to add that to my list. That’s gotta be an awesome site to see.
Hey Guys, I didn’t trash your comments.
There seems to be a problem with WordPress import, so I’m going to paste all the comments below, and in the meantime I’ll see If I can fix the bug!

I can’t believe you’ve been to FL 3 times already to try and see a shuttle launch. That definitely was something on my list. I was also always fascinated by the Concorde and would’ve loved to ride it before they shut it down.

Ahaha right, to TRY and see…! That was strenuous. But at least I saw the place.
Hmm, Concorde… I thought they shut it down already but in this case go for it!

You totally har my vote. I’m such a huge aatronomy buff so three things are in my list. :) Northern light. Totally. I used to teach astronomy in observatory, so if I see those I think I could go back with proud experiences. :-)
Oh and the wild life? Definitely!!!

I’ve got the first 2 under my belt, but like you, I’m a little let down that I’ll never see a space shuttle launch. I guess we’ll have to wait for the next super magic rocket.
Great list!

We’ll wait for the rockets and in the meantime we’ll see all the other beautiful things above:)
Yes to all of these, I’ve already seen a total eclipse :)
Hi Giulia!
I saw the wild african animals on a gamelodge during a trip to South Africa in 2004. I haven’t seen an erupting volcano, but would like to see Iceland someday. If you want to see the Nothern Lights, you only need to come up here, because we have lots of it every winter around here :-)
Kai, I will definitely come to see he northern lights!
It must be amazing and I can’t wait to be there:)
Reading the word “die” gives me the chills! But anyway, it will be to reach the Egyptian Pyramids, the mayan pyramids, the great wall of china and maybe the peak of mount everest!
Wow, the peak of Mount Everest sounds challenging:) Anyway good luck with it!
One trip in the masai mara will give so much wildlife experience than you can imagine. The vast grasslands are dotted with herds of zebra, giraffe and gazelle, while the acacia forests abound with birdlife and monkeys all the while elephants and buffalo wallow around the watering holes. The Mara has been called the Kingdom of Lions, as these regal and powerful hunters dominate the grasslands. Cheetah, Hyena and jackals are also a common sight in the Mara.
